Sincerely Anne explores love and heartbreak in new single!

Sincerely Anne, best-known for her soothing voice and gripping lyrics, has just released an upbeat new pop single that will impress even the most critical of ears.

DYING TO LOVE YOU, described by the artist as a “stamp of valuable lessons learned in life”, is about coming to terms with incompatibility in a relationship and accepting when it is time to let go. “As with all of my music, there is always some personal inspiration behind the lyrics,” the singer-songwriter explains. “The song is part of the story of my discovery of what love is and what it isn’t. Creating this artwork helped me realise that love is an interdependent dance and takes two people, in charge of their own sovereignty, to be on the same page for it to work. When love becomes one-sided, there is no use in killing yourself to keep the relationship alive. Love is also about freedom and not ownership, so calling it quits should never be shameful either. Coming to this acceptance and learning these valuable lessons is what inspired the song.”

According to the artist, the track will appeal to a broad audience because of its catchy tune and universal message that many will be able to relate to.The song is complemented by an equally impressive music video which will be released on 13 May 2022.

DYING TO LOVE YOU is her fourth single and follows in the successful footsteps of previous hits like She’s On Fire, Poison and Transcend. Anne currently lives in Johannesburg but grew up on a farm, where she was home-schooled until the age of thirteen. She is the youngest of five children and started playing the violin at a very young age. She had been playing violin at events for nineteen years and singing in bands for five years before launching her solo career in 2017. She has shared the stage with numerous big names in the music industry and featured in various orchestras. In her spare time, she is also a violin and piano tutor and is currently working on her debut album, which is scheduled for release later this year.

With DYING TO LOVE YOU, Anne is hoping to inspire listeners to think more deeply about their relationships. “I want people to realize that a true divine interdependent partnership will never make you feel like you need to lose yourself when loving someone,” she concludes.
