Listen to the new Haylea Heyns single, Sorry, at full blast!
SORRY is an emotionally loaded contemporary pop song, written and performed by super talented singer-songwriter, Haylea Heyns and for anyone who has ever been let down by someone they care about. “It is an anthem song about overcoming hurt and rejection,” the singer shares. “Someone let me down recently and I wrote a song about it. I am sure that everyone can relate to that feeling of rejection and hurt, but my song is about overcoming it and loving yourself enough to move on.”
Co-produced by Justin Swart and Tom Watkeys, the song combines elements of pop, electro and gospel to create a remarkable end-result that stays with you long after hearing it for the first time.
“The song represents personal growth for me. It took me a long time to build the courage and confidence to say no to people, to do what is best for me, and to get into a healthy space of self-love and self-respect,” she says.
SORRY follows the release of the thirty-year-old’s 2020 single, Blow Your Speakers, which was exceptionally well received and can still be heard on major radio stations nationwide.
